Kalye Lozada is located at R. Diokno Street in Lemery, Batangas. It is a two-story restaurant, combining modern and Spanish-era Filipiniana concept. The facade has an indiscreet wooden signboard nailed above the entryway. A thin metal signage post is placed near the capiz-type window. You will immediately see the second floor’s open space even from afar.

Aside from the different assortment of heavy wooden chairs and tables inside, you will see others made of thin metal as well. The walls are off-white with minimal decorations. The floor is that of vintage tiles. The staircase, which is a combination of stone and wood materials, leads to a more modern space. The second level has a floor painted red and a wall with colorful mandala mural. The lounge has an assortment of different kinds of blankets, carpets or floor mats, pillows, and tables.

Kalye Lozada serves rice meals and appetizers, but the best seller is Rufo’s Sizzling Sisig. As of the moment, delivery and catering services are not available. You may contact the restaurant through the official Facebook page.

How to Get There

From City Center:

Near San Roque Parish Church, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Kalye Lozada. The fare for the special ride is ₱30.

 

From Bus Terminal:

From Manila, take a bus (DLTB or Jam Bus) bound for Lemery. Alight at the bus terminal or at Xentro Mall. From either point, hire a tricycle to take you to Kalye Lozada. The fare for the special trip is ₱50.
