Kapitan Bawang’s Grill and Restaurant’s facade has Thai silk bamboos greeting you as you approach the restaurant. A signage made of a wooden slab is placed at the entrance too. Upon entering, you will notice the nautical theme of the interior with wall decorations and photos related to seafaring against the predominantly wooden walls and ceiling. The tables and chairs are made of polished wood too.
It mainly offers Filipino dishes; Inihaw na Platter and Biyaya ng Dagat sa Bilao are the best sellers. The menu shows a plethora of food choices that will serve everyone’s craving, even for kids. How to Get There
From City Center:
From the town center of Mabini, take a tricycle to the restaurant. Tell the driver to drop you off at Kapitan Bawang’s Grill & Restaurant. The fare is ₱10.
From Bus Terminal:
From Manila, get on a bus (Jam Liner, JAC or Alps) bound for Batangas City Bus Terminal. The fare ranges from ₱140 to ₱160. From the Batangas City Grand Terminal, board a jeepney to Mabini. Get off at Mabini Municipal Hall. The fare is ₱40. Take a tricycle to the restaurant. The fare is ₱10.
